All trophies will be given after the final match of each section is complete in the auditorium. All end times are estimated.
Tournament Details
* Special instructions for our Unrated Sections will be presented at 10:15am in the auditorium.
* Pairing will be posted in the Playing Hall (cafeteria)
* Parents may help their children get settled in the playing hall at the start of their rounds.
* Second and following rounds will begin when the previous round is completed.
* Award ceremonies will take place at the completion of each section.
CANCELLATION POLICY
A refund will be issued for cancellations made no later than seven days prior to the tournament date. A credit to a future tournament (within the same school year) will be issued for a cancellation made up to 3pm the day before a tournament. No refund or credit for a cancellation made after 3pm the day before a tournament. No refund or credit for no shows. Credits that are unused by the last tournament of the school year will be donated to PS 41 Chess Club, Inc.

PARENTAL SUPERVISION IS REQUIRED THROUGHOUT THE TOURNAMENT PROTECT OUR KIDS AND DO NOT BRING NUT PRODUCTS NO FOOD OR DRINKS ARE ALLOWED IN THE AUDITORIUM
Chess Trophy Recycling will be available on select dates (dates to be announced).
Team Skitting Tables Team skittling tables are available and can be reserved on a first-come, first served basis. Contact Tournament Director @ [email protected] or Jeremy Scheinbach @ [email protected] for details.
Arts & Crafts activity tables will be located in the auditorium from 11am-1:30pm.
Support the PS 41 Chess Team Delicious breakfast and tasty lunch items will be sold throughout the day at the tournament. Proceeds will directly benefit the PS 41 Chess Team.
